Book a private transfer from Bergamo Airport to Saas Fee, Switzerland’s “Pearl of the Alps”, on a trip of about 245 km (153 miles) that takes around 2 hours 30 minutes. The trip winds through Alpine valleys, crossing into Switzerland to reach this high-mountain village.
Saas Fee is a vehicle-free ski resort town in the Swiss Alps, called “The Pearl of the Alps”. Because of glaciers like the Dom and Allalinhorn, it has all‑season winter sports. It has 22 lifts, the Metro Alpin funicular train, 1800 m vertical drop, a summit station at 3600 m with some 150 km of pistes.
Aside from snowboarding and skiing, visitors can enjoy paragliding or canyon climbing or snowshoeing. The village itself has no vehicles (vehicles are left outside, only the small electric cars being allowed), keeping its wood buildings and clean air. Saas Fee is surrounded by 13 mountains above 4000 m and features a rotating restaurant at 3500 m.
A private transfer allows you to relax while driving across borders and hill roads. Your driver will deliver you to the parking terminal outside the car-free zone and arrange the transport of your luggage into the village for a hassle-free start to your alpine break.
